Internet Explorer toolbars
How about an article that explains how to write custom Toolbars and Toolbar buttons for Internet Explorer? Third-party applications like ICQ/AOL, Yahoo, Adobe, etc have been doing this alot in recent years.

Remy,
I've always wondered what went into making the Google IE toolbar, which is a toolbar that I just can't live without. Although I won't be making my own toolbar in the near future (unless we can make a BCB Journal toolbar--that would be cool!); however, it would be quite interesting to learn the steps involved, and I bet some of the concepts apply to other areas as well. I'd say go for it!
Cheers,
Damon

yes this is very interesting
an automated way to crete a program that installs your toolbar into IE for your customers
I haven't forgotten about this. I have just been too busy to sit down for a few days and hash out an article. I have some working code I designed specifically for the article, but it still has some minor bugs that I haven't had time to fix.
I don't have any experience with Firefox, so I don't know what requirements it has for plugins.minas wrote:I think that is good to cover both browsers
