Does anyone know where I can download a detailed help-manual with examples of Indy?
Thanks.

Documentation is available at http://www.indyproject.org/Sockets/Docs/index.EN.aspx.

Demos are available at http://www.indyproject.org/Sockets/Demos/index.EN.aspx.

Unfortunately, both are a bit dated.

Are there any plans of Indy team to update the help? Where can I find examples in C++?

We want to, but we don't have the manpower to do it in a timely manner.

We don't have C++ examples. There are some third-party examples floating around. Indy works the same way in C++ as it does in Delphi, so the Delphi examples can be easily translated to C++ as needed.

What I have learned about Indy was from reading through the Delphi examples. I do not find object pascal the easiest to read, but from the standpoint of readability, I suppose it is a step above VB. From what I can remember, the good news was that there were a LOT of varied Delphi examples, including a fully functioning email client that I suppose could be compiled and used as is.

Dear gambit47 please add some articles of Indy 10 in C++Builder Developer's Journal.
It would be a great solution for C++ users.
